Fergal originally joined Bohs for the 1998/99 season, but moved to Finn Harps and appeared in that season's FAI Cup final. Fergal was welcomed back to Dalymount in June 2001. Fleet-footed, strong on the ball and an excellent passer,

he operates down the right or in the centre of midfield. Fergal won the first major honour of his career when he played his part in Bohs' League triumph of 2002/03. He added an extra edge to his game in season 2005 with 7 goals from his 31 League appearances. That he was Bohs' player-of-the-year for the second year in a row despite missing the final third of season 2006 through injury, says a lot about him. A part-time professional, Fergal's a full-time threat to the opposition when he's on the ball.
