1975-76

Formed, played in the Northern Amateur League as Whickham Sports FC, team manager founder John Thompson.

1978-79

League Champions, Won Northern Amateur League Cup, Gateshead Charity Cup Winners.
1979-80 League Position 2nd, League Cup runners up, runners up in the Durham Minor Cup, League Shield Winners,
1980-81 League Shield Winners, Heddon Holmes Cup Winners.
1981-82 Joined Northern Combination League, League position 6th, League Cup runners up, Durham County Cup Winners.
1982-83 Changed name to Dunston Mechanics FC, league position 3rd, new team manager Tom Cooney.
1983-84 League position 2nd, League Cup Winners.
1984-85 League position 2nd, League Cup Runners Up, new team manager Peter Quigley.
1985-86 League position 2nd, League Cup Runners Up, played this season at Marley Hill.

1986-87

Changed name to Dunston Federation Brewery FC, moved to new ground Federation Park, League position 1st, new team manager Alan Stott.
1987-88 Moved up into the Wearside League, League position 9th, Sunderland Shipowners Cup Winners.

1988-89

League position 1st, first entry in the FA Vase. Aug 15 v NUFC for official opening of Federation Park, opened by

Newcastle manager Iam McFaul, Fed lost 2-1.

1989-90

League position 1st, team manager Peter Quigley returns, Monkwearmouth Cup runners up.

First Fed program i have is from 17th March 1990.

1990-91 League position 2nd, League Cup winners.

1991-92

Now in Northern League Division 2, League position 5th, first FA Cup entry v Guisborough won 1-0.

January 6th, official opening of the new floodlight system played NUFC Fed won 2-1.

This game was also the 1st game SyMpOsIuM attended.

1st game i went to at Federation Park was 25th April 1992 v Evenwood, Fed won 8-0.

1992-93

League Division 2 Champions, reached round 6 of FA Vase. April 10th ground hopper game v Evenwood at The Fed

we won 3-0.

1993-94 League position 11th, Division One enter FA Trophy instead of the FA Vase.
1995-96 League position 6th, League Cup runners up.

1996-97

League position 12th our lowest league position, In our FA Cup tie against Hebburn on the 30.08.96 Fed won 5-0 Gary McDonald scored all 5 goals.

1997-98

New team manager Bobby Scaife. League position 4th, League Cup Winners, Charity Shield runners up.

April 20th 2004 Dunston played their 500th League game v Billingham Town (A).

13th December 2003 R. Pitt scores Dunston's 1000th League goal at Bedlington Terriers.

League position 1st, League Cup Winners:- game won by golden goal scorer David Southern on 105th minute. 2-1.

Dunston played 40 League games and only lost one game all season, the very last one away at Bedlington.

Fed obtain new shirt sponsors for both home and away strips.

13th September Dunston won their 500th Northern League game at home against Brandon Utd.

Dunston finish 3rd in the League and became Northern League Cup runners up.

Manager Bobby Scaife steps down Assistant Manager Perry Briggs takes over.

League position 7th.

Club change name from Dunston Federation Brewery FC to Dunston Federation F.C.

2007-08

.

Dunston finish 6th in the League, apply for the UniBond, in hope for a sponsor and need to finish 6th to join.

The Fed withdrew their intentions for the UniBond for the lack of a main sponsorship.
